The Esther group is a group for the single women in the church which focuses on issues particularly faced by women wanting to live a single life that honours God. It provides a context for the exploration of important issues that are often overlooked in other areas of church life and gives us time as women to particularly discuss issues as they affect us. The group meets every six weeks on a Friday evening to discuss topical issues such as Building our relationship with God, The father heart of God, Dating, and being a woman of God.

 

The group is currently studying a series called 'Women of Faith' and discussion is based around readings taken from several Christian authors and a study of key passages in the bible. The group is friendly and informal and allows time for people to discuss issues raised by the reading people have completed between each session. Time is also made for prayer and fellowship as we look to encourage each other in our walks with God.
