Hope Congregation - East Bristol
Welcome to the Hope Congregation of Bridge Community Church. My name is Sheldon Carlisle and I lead Hope Congregation.

We are building a strong and vibrant congregation serving East Bristol. Currently we draw people from Fishponds, St. George, Easton, and Kingswood. We currently meet twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 4pm. In the intervening weeks we meet on Sunday mornings with the Bridge Congregation in North Bristol.
Our meeting dates for the rest of the year are as follows;
- September: 5th & 19th
- October: 3rd & 17th
- November: 7th & 21st
- December: 5th & 19th
We would love for you to come and join us for this meeting at the Brunel Academy (Speedwell Road, Bristol, BS15 1NU - the entrance is off Duncombe Lane).

As it can be daunting coming to a church meeting for the first time, here are some of the things you can expect:
Welcome
We will do our best to help you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. Coffee and biscuits are served at the end of our meeting where you can meet new people and find out more about Bridge Community Church
Worship
Our first priority is to spend time focussing on God and how great he is and how thankful we are for all that he's done in our lives. We express our worship in songs, prayers and by reading passages of the Bible and everyone is encouraged to be involved
Word
The Bible is the unshakable truth, the only foundation for our lives, however it can sometimes be difficult to understand. Each Sunday we spend time looking at what particular passages in the Bible teach us about God and our relationship to him and each other and how they apply to our lives
Provision For Children
If you are visiting with children it might be helpful to know that we run a crèche facility for preschoolers and kids church activities for primary age children.
