The Leadership

We realise that it can be quite daunting visiting a church for the first time and it can be quite hard to work out who is responsible for what. Here we have outlined who is responsible for what in Bridge Community Church, both in our Bridge (North Bristol) & Hope (East Bristol) congregations.

At Bridge Community Church we are committed to team leadership which we believe brings strength and security. We currently have two Elders, Nick Todd (Lead Elder) and Chris Rowell. To ensure that our congregations are well cared for we have leadership teams focused on each congregation. Over time we anticipate these teams becoming Eldership Teams. Nick meets with both teams on a regular basis, and Chris leads the Bridge Congregational team.

Bridge Community Church

Nick Todd (Lead Elder) is married to Sarah and has 4 children. They live in Bradley Stoke and Nick is responsible for leading Bridge Community Church. In addition, Nick runs his own technical training business.		Chris Rowell (Elder) is married to Annelie, and is the Bridge Congregation Leader. Chris works full time for Bridge Community Church.			Sheldon Carlisle is married to Rachael and they have a young daughter. Sheldon works in legal recruitment. Sheldon is the Hope Congregation Leader.

Bridge Congregation (North Bristol)

Leadership Team - Led by Chris Rowell

Paul Wood is married to Camilla, and helps to oversee our community groups. Paul regularly preaches on Sunday mornings.		Mick Lugg with his wife Maggie, is responsible for pastoral care within the Bridge Congregation. Mick & Maggie also help coordinate many of our equipping courses such as the Marriage & Parenting courses. Maggie leads our womens ministry regularly running our womens retreat days.		Dotun Oloweyo is married to Femi and they are both originally from Nigeria. As a church we have a passion to reach the nations on our doorstep and Dotun is particularly helping us to do this. Dotun regularly preaches and along with Andy Rogers heads up our mens work called Reload.

Hope Congregation (East Bristol)

Leadership Team - Led by Sheldon Carlisle

Simon Homer is married to Teresa, and is responsible for pastoral care within the Hope congregation. Simon also leads our Freedom In Christ equipping programme. Simon regularly preaches in the Hope congregation.		Andy Rogers is married to Jane, and along with Dotun, runs our regular equipping program for men called ReLoad. Andy preaches regularly in our Hope Congregation and regularly leads worship.
